Bottle Conditioned Beers

Barnfield Bitter 3.8% abv
Light brown, produced using Golding hops to give a pleasantly drinkable bitterness. 

Levelly Gold 4% abv
Golden summery ale. A refreshing bitter with a pleasant finish. Made with First Gold Hops, an agreeable alternative to lager.

Stoneley Bitter 4.2% abv
A Medium brown bitter, with a well balanced flavour of malt and hops.
Finalist CAMRA Champion beer of Britain 2008.

Braintree Market Ale 4.0% abv
Traditional easy drinking session beer, a hoppy lingering dry bitter finish, the latest addition to the Shalford range.

Hyde Bitter 4.7% abv
A light, amber coloured bitter brewed with Optic malt and target hops, full bodied with a warm malty undertone.

Levelly Black 4.8% abv
Winter stout, dark malty, and smooth

Longfield Lager 5.5% abv
This traditionally brewed lager has been slowly fermented, followed by a long cold conditioning process of three months. This produces a more stable refreshing beer full of natural aroma and smoother flavour.

Springfield 6.0%
A refreshing, crisp, clean bitter made from a careful blend of wheat and barley malt with plenty of fizz, ideal for an afternoon in the beer garden.

Rotten End 6.5% abv
Traditional coloured and strong, accompanied by a slightly sweet and nutty undertone with a bitter edge to finish.

Shalford 1319 Mild 3.7% abv
Roast malt and delicate chocolate sweetness with a slight bitter finish.
